Wow, these are really nice! How did you make them?
The second two give off a kind of peaceful atmosphere, which I think is different from the atmosphere you were trying to show in the chapters, but that isn’t really a problem, I guess.
Thanks. I made these using the live paint feature of Adobe Illustrator, which converts an image into semi-abstract art pieces.
With the second two images, I did want an element of tranquillity. The second one shows how Wayne – who’s previously viewed cities as antagonistic, hostile environments – comes to appreciate Belpo and view it more favourably. With the last one, I definitely wanted that to be quite beautiful and peaceful, because that place comes to have special significance to Wayne. Thanks for your wonderful feedback!
